Rather than designing and planning a new edge deployment, the Vertiv SmartRowâ„¢ 2 is an all-in-one solution designed for Edge computing by global leaders in data center infrastructure. This solution includes 2 IT rack enclosures with true hot and cold aisle containment for high-efficiency cooling. Coupled with multiple temperature sensors in each rack, the 10 kW in-row cooling unit prevents hot spots and modulates capacity, which reduces wear and tear and extends service life. The electrical distribution panel includes main input circuit breaker protection, enables fast installation, and protects the system from power surges and spikes. The online double-conversion UPS isolates critical IT equipment and the PDUs in each rack from power anomalies and outages. A pre-integrated external maintenance bypass in the UPS allows for service without interrupting power to any connected equipment.
