Overview

The XS910/8 unmanaged switch provides reliable and seamless connectivity at the edge of modern networks, with plug-and-play installation for easy deployment.

The XS910/8 features 8 x 100M/1/2.5/5/10G ports, and uses auto-negotiation to automatically optimize the link speed to maximize performance.

High speed

As technology advances, many IoT devices and a variety of content platforms delivering videos, images and sounds require more power at the edge of network. The XS910/8 delivers speeds of up to 10G to meet these growing demands.

Loop detection

The XS910/8 provides network loop detection by periodically sending Loop Detection Frames (LDF). If a loop is detected, the switch will automatically block the offending port to stop broadcast storms from affecting network performance. Once the loop is resolved, the port is unblocked.

Energy Efficient Ethernet

The XS910/8 switch is eco-friendly, supporting IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficiency Ethernet (EEE). When EEE is enabled, power consumption is reduced on ports with low activity. Not only does this help the planet by reducing the carbon footprint of each switch, it also lowers the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to the user, as the device costs less to run, and features improved reliability.

DIP switches

The XS910/8 has a set of DIP switches on the front panel, which simplify configuration by enabling users to easily enable or disable features such as Loop Guard and Energy Efficient Ethernet.

Flexible deployment

The XS910/8 switch is fanless, providing silent operation. A reliable steel chassis guarantees high endurance. Furthermore, its relatively compact design allows easy switch placement in work spaces and on desktops, with no interruption to network users.
